Jenni Calcraft is a passionate marine biologist and dedicated station manager at the Orpheus Island Research Station, a site owned by James Cook University. Originally from Brisbane, Jenni now thrives on Gullbody Island, where her love for the ocean meets her commitment to cultural collaboration. As a facilitator of ocean activities, she plays a vital role in supporting Native Land Title efforts and storytelling initiatives with the Munbarra people. Jenni’s unique contributions extend to fostering partnerships with Indigenous ranger groups, highlighting her dedication to both marine science and cultural respect. Her adventurous spirit and humor make each expedition memorable and impactful.
