Her father's legacy as a fisherman and bush walker, as well as being the eldest of fifteen, informs her profound connection to nature and community. Irene embodies the spirit of her ancestors, sharing their stories and traditions with the next generation while celebrating the vibrant history and beauty of Palm Island.
