The Palm Island Community Company (PICC) supports Bwgcolman (Palm Island) and broader North Queensland Pasifika families through cultural connection, family strengthening, and diversion programs. With 197 staff serving 300+ families annually and a 78% youth diversion success rate, PICC transforms the PICC Station Precinct into a regional hub. The organization honors the resilience of Bwgcolman - where "many tribes became one people" after the 1918 cyclone displacement - and demonstrates that culture is protection for young people.
